General Observations

The Egyptian Journal of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation geget, publishes original articles in the selected field of Pediatric Nephrology at large.

Two issues per year would contain Editorial Commentaries, Reviews, Educational Reviews, Original Articles, Brief Case Reports, Rapid Communications, Clinical Quizzes, and Letters to the Editor. 

Submission-Publishing Package*means Documents inclusive of :

  • Title Page (Cover Page) defines the corresponding author, first author and other authors with their corresponding affiliation and the institute where work has been done.  
  • Main Manuscripts isolated – comprising the body of work, tables, figures, discussion…
  • Three Consent Forms (By-laws, Syntax)

Such complete five items of the Publishing-Submission-Package, must wholly, be submitted online at geget.journals.ekb.eg/ 

Please, do not post fax, or e-mail your manuscripts to the Editorial Office.

Any such motion will be disregarded. 

However if assistance is required, you may then, contact the Editorial Office through: office@espnt.net 

The site will build the PDF version for the article upon final submission from authors, as well as automatically assign a DOI upon acceptance of online publication. 

Conditions

  • The journal will not publish articles that have been previously reported at any length or materials being considered for publishing elsewhere.
  • To secure originality, your article may be checked by the Originality Detection Service Crossref Similarity Check, iThenticate.
  • It is the author's responsibility to obtain permission to reproduce illustrations, table, and the like, from other publications.
  • The soft copies should be written in proper English suitable for international platforms, and the Editorial Board reserves the right to make the appropriate correction in grammar and style.
  • Accepted papers become the permanent property of to geget, The Egyptian Journal of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation- and may not be reproduced by any means, in whole or in part, without the explicit written consent of the Publisher.
  • Please remember that the geget  Editorial Board remains vigorously perceptive of its by-rules, inclusive of the time window of forty to sixty days.

2-FUNDAMENTAL PRE-SUBMISSION NOTICE

Assertion

☐ “The article is relevant to the broad field of pediatric nephrology”. 

  • Please read carefully and agree to all regulatory requisites, in order to be registered for submission of your article.
  • After submission, please note that, for a timely editorial response to your article you need to consent and tightly abide-by, the involved “Guidelines to Authors” containing conditions Publishing-Submission-Package items.
  • In case of the Editorial Office sending back your article due to possible reviewers’ remarks, please re-submit your complete corrected publication form directly online within 15 days, and in order to fit into the publishing schedule online/print and in the context of the succeeding issue. Use your registering
  • Failing to prepare your complete files in a timely fashion, could lead the publication of your article to be delayed until the ulterior issue(s).
  • All Submitted papers become the exclusive property geget The Journal of the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation.
  • Unaccepted papers are not sent back. A rejection notification is, however, sent to the corresponding author with no delay in order to release the ‘Commitment of Publication’ from geget The Journal of the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation.
  • Papers deemed suitable are then sent within 14 days of submission, to at least two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the article. 

      Each Reviewer takes 21 days for reviewing the manuscript, while the whole Peer Review Process takes from 40 to 60 days.

The response of the Author to an eventual reviewer/editor remarks to his submitted article is expected not to exceed 14  days.

The geget Journal site retains all events pertinent to access and submission. (activity and data log).
